ABOUT
Why I do this
Being pre-med in college and spending a number of years volunteering as an emergency medical technician most of my friends ended up being part of the medical and dental community. I saw first hand what they went thru to succeed. The time they sacrificed and their emotional journey.
I also saw that they were offered little guidance with regard to their finances. Within a few short years, their finances evolved much faster than their understanding of how to efficiently manage their newfound assets. Information was overwhelming and coming from all angles. At times causing more frustration instead of offering a solution. A lot of the advice was cookie-cutter and not customized to the specific needs of your profession or taking into account the specific risks you face. It became a challenge for them to confidently choose which advice in their best interest.

Luckily since then and with the evolution of social platforms resources are now abundant. Unfortunately, at times too abundant. Many of the same challenges are still front and center.

Full disclosure, I am an independent registered financial advisor and investment manager. I have been in the industry since early 2000. I function as a fiduciary because I believe in offering objective advice that is specific to your needs. It is a key reason I own my practice.
This part may come as a shock but I also don't believe everyone necessarily needs a financial advisor to succeed. You can do it on your own. Having said that, I spend my summers on my grandparent's farm in Greece, chasing chickens, milking cows, and working on their fields. I can technically grow and raise everything I need in my back yard, organically. As much as I cherish the memories and the experience I still choose to buy most of my groceries at the local store.

My goal is to offer you a consolidated and objective platform that will empower your confidence when making financial decisions. If you choose to manage your assets on your own, engage my firm or any financial professional I want you to do so with confidence knowing what to ask and look for. In my opinion, most financial relationships end poorly not because of a lack of investment performance but because there was an unclear understanding of the expectations.

The perspective we follow is an extension of the financial planning and investment manager approach I offer at Ithaka Strategic Partners. My goal is to help you plan for your future but I place an even greater emphasis on the journey that gets you there. I want you to be able to enjoy your most precious asset, your time.

I invite you to actively engage, ask questions and share your concerns.
